Appearance, shape, form, colour, ergonomics, functionality – there are many aspects of these features as regards design themes. In contrast, design is more than some features or set of features selected from the list presented above but above all, the values that the designer transfers to the recipient or the end customer of the work (the design) or during its realization (in case of a product).

An example referring to the urban space:
When investment activities concerning city revitalization are focused on making it look nice and comfortable, preserving the history of this place – the solution as regards furnishing urban space constitutes the value of the design, it motivates residents to start integrating. Sitting down and facing each other, the establishment of social relationships takes place naturally.
